Welcome to the 5th Annual sports Meet of St. Xavier’s School which is one of the best and most sought-after CBSE School in the vicinity of Amloh. St. Xavier strives for the fulfillment of its motto “Towards Fullness of Life”
In this report we seek to present before you a glimpse of the performance of the institution in the last academic year (2021-22)
St. Xavier has a history of 20 successful years. This temple of education is managed by Simla – Chandigarh Educational Society. We are privileged to have this Excellency REV. Dr. Ignatius Loyala Ivan Mascarenas as the President of our prestigious society. At present Fr. John.Maria Vianney, the manager of the school and Sr. Lovely George, the Principal of the school are leading the school towards peak of success. In this journey we also have Fr. Robert as our guide and support.
INFRASTUCTURE:
St. Xavier well equipped with 3 science labs and computer lab. We also have a well-stocked library and decked spacious rooms for art, indoor games .The classrooms are well equipped with audio-visual aids.
ACADEMICS:
Our school has history of 100% result in the CBSE examination. In the last academic session there were 14 students who secured above 85% among the 78 students who appeared for class X CBSE board examination in March, 2021.
Interactive sessions:
Our school organizes various seminars, motivational talks for the students, teachers and support staff to update themselves on the current topics.
Art and Craft:
School organizes various art and craft competitions like Rakhi making, greeting card making , wall hanging, rangoli, collage making to enhance the creativity of the students. The works of the students are also exhibited to showcase their talents.
Sports:
Following the principle of “Healthy mind lives in a Healthy body” various games are conducted in the school for physical development of the students. We have students who have played for districts, state etc. in Handball, Football, Shooting, Lawn Tennis, Archery etc.
Educational tour:
Our school provides ample opportunities to its students to experience the outside world by providing educational tours. The students visited the Chattbir Zoo in Zirakpur, Science city in Jalandhar and Jaipur city.
Co-curricular Activities:
With the aim of overall development of our students, the school provides its students various activities like badminton, martial arts and skating wherein experts are involved for training the students. The school also celebrates special days to mark the importance of that day.
AWARDS AND ACHIEVEMENTS:
The school has been excelling in every sphere and therefore has been awarded at national level for the best infrastructure, best school for clean and hygienic environment and the best principal’s award.
We, the Xavierians, are not only proud of our achieved levels but are always ready to accept our shortcomings of the past and correct the same. Before concluding this report, I bow my head before the Almighty in gratitude for the blessings showered upon us by Him in the past and pray for his blessings for the future throughout all the ups and downs our institution passes through. This report is concluded by humbly entrusting our institution to the divine providence of the Holy Trinity.
